OurStage helps talented artists achieve critical exposure through their unique online voting system. It’s the only 100% democratic online competition where the fans decide who's best across multiple (and growing) categories of music and film.

OurStage/NPI created a campaign introducing, establishing and promoting OurStage as an online avenue for independent musicians and artists to gain exposure to a wider audience. The fans vote for their favorite artists and the top ranking ones have opportunities such as cash prizes and performance slots as well as receiving advice from professionals in the OurStage Artist Access programs, and various other incentives to help artists launch their careers. NPI built awareness to the artist community as well as created methods to increase traffic to the sight and encourage artist sign ups.

• Campaign Elements
• Identifying opportunities and relationships by reaching out to an extended network to cultivate new and larger audiences to amplify the Ourstage message
• Introducing OurStage to independent musicians, record labels, film/video professionals and independentproducers to inform them about Ourstage and their continuously developing story.
• Strategizing with OurStage on ways to improve functionality of the website as well as creating messaging to reach diverse audiences
• Creating opportunities and initiatives to promote Ourstage utilizing Noise Pop and other platforms.
• Mentor sessions with high level Noise Pop staff
• Established an OurStage/Noise Pop channel as a means for selecting artists to play the Noise Pop 2008 festival
• Featured OurStage artists on the Noise Pop site as well as the monthly podcast
• Onsite promotion at the Noise Pop festival
• Results
  • The Noise Pop/OurStage channel increased OurStage traffic with over 500 new artists and fan sign ups
    Over 15 artists and filmmakers were selected to play Noise Pop 2008
  • Artists responded with positive feedback and utilized many of the other channels as a result of the OurStage/Noise Pop channel
